Well here goes.....my first official blog post.  I have made a card for the Paper Players Challenge ##83 "to create a masculine card with clean and simple lines" .
I was preparing for a card class and this challenge just happened to fit the bill.

I used Stampin' Up's Mocha Morning Designer Paper; I just love the gold accents and the masculine vibe of this paper.

This is called a gate fold card: this image is of the card closed.  I love trying new folds for cards, it keeps them interesting. Below is what the card look like open.  I used all Stampin' Up products on this card.  The main card background is textured Close to Cocoa cardstock, the inside is Sahara Sand.  The images are from the stamp set Lovely as A Tree and were stamped off before stamping in order to create a softer image.  The sentiment is from Occasional Quotes.  The sentiment on the front is from Vintage Labels.

I love the paper in the Mocha Morning set so much that I made another card using a different style from the same package.

The stamp used on the inside of this card is one from my stash and has no label.
