Here's My Card for ALWAYS PLAYING WITH PAPER Merry Monday Challenge #34. As winner of challenge #32
I was asked to be a guest designer this week, what a thrill and a honour it was to have my card chosen as top pick. This weeks sketch is so elegant and classic I wanted to make a card to fit that feel.
All products used on this card are by Stampin' Up! The colours are Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler. The DSP is Bring on the Cheer. The ribbon is Victorian Lace Crochet Trim. The stamp set is Ornament Keepsakes and the coordinating Holiday Ornament Framelit die was used to cut out the ornament which was clear embossed after it was stamped. I layered the frames, cut out using the Labels Collection Framelit dies, and the ornament and then added a few pearls as a final touch. Here is a close up.
It was great fun doing this. I hope you come back to visit me here again.

Tiz, this is a very pretty monochromatic card. I love how the DSP works in so well with the ornament. The embossing and piercing behind the ornament provide added highlights.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, I love the rich colour and the lace is perfect.
