Today I wanted to show you a card I made recently for a friend celebrating her 60th birthday.
I wanted to keep it monotone so did everything in Crumb Cake and Early Espresso. I even sponged the doily with Crumb Cake. The gold cut out 60 was also sponged with Crumb Cake to make it blend. A few vintage brads and some chunky gold glitter tie it all together.

Snowflakes
I've been loving the new Festive Flurry stamp set and coordinating dies. Originally I was disappointed that Stampin ' Up! just didn't bring out dies to match the snowflakes from last year, but once I saw the new set in use I had to have it!
In a recent class we made 6 cards (3 each of 2 designs) and a package tag, all using this stamp and die set.

Catching Up
Today I'm bringing you cards we've done in a recent All Occasion Cards class. These are all modifications of swap cards from Convention this past summer.

Button, Button...
Today's challenge over at Catherine and Cathy Create is to use buttons. I am still working on Christmas cards for our upcoming Craft Market this Saturday so I put on my thinking cap to see what I could come up with.
Here's My Card:
I tried a new technique that I saw online somewhere that was called "glitter powder". You mix Stampin' Up! embossing powder with SU glitter, and Voila! a glittery embossed image. The picture does not do the glittery image justice; it's so pretty! I used Cherry Cobbled embossing powder and gold glitter.
Here are the rest of the details:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler
Stamps: Wonderful Wreath, Heard From the Heart
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Tools: Festive Paper Piercing Pack, Paper Piercing Tool, Big Shot, Windows Framelits
Accessories: Neutrals Buttons (R), Old Olive Ribbon (R)
